ISLAND HOPPING

Koh Mook  - Emerald Cave

We hopped on a Traditional Long Tail Boat for our tour today ….boating, boating and more boating on the Andaman Sea….not great for the people who get sea sick (poor Dominique)!  She made it to the 4 islands without up-chucking her breakfast but returning home…well, thank god we had a plastic bag!!!!!  Our captain handed us a jar of Tiger Balm (little pot of joy) and I motioned to him "what do we do with this" and he motioned back "smell it".  OHHH, well DUH, not only does it relieve achy muscles it helps sooth an upset stomach! The sea was rough and half the people on our boat were drenched from the waves.  My husband graciously offered to change seats with me so he could be the one who got drenched….. and so I could take care of my baby!  We visited the islands "Koh Mook, Koh Ngai, Koh Ma and Koh Chueak."  The highlight of this trip was probably Koh Mook where we swam approximately 80 meters through a dark underwater tunnel (cave).  It was a neat experience to emerge from a dark cave into an amazing green tropical oasis…..OH and by the way (btw) we had to steal a couple pics from the internet of Emerald Cave…didn't have a camera :(  Had one of the passengers on the tour take a couple pics of us….hoping she sends them to us soon!

Snorkelling with the Jelly fish….no thanks!

Favorite time of day…relaxing at The Indian, sipping beer, listening to the waves and waiting for the sunset.
