Chill day in AoNang

Didn't make it to PHRA NANG bay as the clouds looked "iffy" in the morning so it was just a chill day in Aonang…breakfast, beach walk, manicure/pedicure, lunch, moped ride, swim, local market, sunset, pics with Lala, dinner!

…and because we had no plans why not get a pedicure/manicure? $10

Local Market - I felt like we were invading their market….not too many whitey's here!

….but they were more than happy to sell to us!  Happy customer! :)

Our purchase consisted of….1 dragon fruit, bag of pineapple, bag of little oranges (so so good), bag of Rambuton (similar taste to a lychee) 2 fried chicken breasts, 2 chicken skewers,   6 doughnuts, 1 corn on the cob, grapefruit, 3 little hot dog things rolled in some sort of crepe, and 1 iced coffee (very delicious)!  All this for a whooping $9

Mcshits….costs just as much as the market food we bought! Expensive to eat western food in Asia!

my hubby made a little girl's day (the little girl on the chair)!

***She works with her dad helping him prepare the meals…organizing the to-go containers, cutting up green beans (not for pad thai), adding the condiments to the food, placing the containers in the to-go bags, etc…..she was approximately 10 years old!  Marc tipped her 80 Thai Baht ($2.70 Cdn)….she went from zero expression, reserved and performing her duties for her dad to skipping around, huge smile on her face, waving her money around like she won the lotto, we could hear none stop chatter to her dad (no clue what she was saying but she sounded excited)….her mood instantly changed…it was so cute!
