Arrived safely in VANG VIANG

When we arrived in town around lunch time, we were dropped off on the main drag and took a tuk tuk to Vinutda Guesthouse which was a short drive away.  We paid $51.00 for 3 nights CDN which was reasonable considering it was clean, had warm water and AC (which we didn't need as it was cool at night (15ish)). After quickly checking in, we left to explore the area and trying to figure out what the best activities to do will be during our short stay.

We walked in the village, by the river and then needed to carb up so we went to a restaurant with great reviews on Trip Advisor and it turned out it was only a 150 meters down the street from our Guest House.  AMD Restaurant was delicious.  All food was prepared fresh by a mom, the dad was serving and the kids, well the kids were being kids. The eldest was helping with chores and the youngest was cooling herself off as best she could. We discovered our new favourite refreshing drink (well other then the tasty and very affordable Beer Laos we drank every day).  THE LEMON/MINT SHAKE !!!!!
