KOH CHANG! GOOD TIMES AS USUAL

We spent 8 nights with Ian & Mam @ BAAN RIM NAM.  Not much to report, always a pleasant stay!  We met Paul and Pauline from Denmark who also were staying @ BAAN RIM NAM.  They were a blast to hang out with and we did a couple dinners and had some cocktails with them.

Paul & Pauline

For Paul and Pauline's last night we went to a local resort where the locals were celebrating some Tourism thing for the Trat province.  All we were interested in was the Buffet!!!  We sat down at one of the 5 tables....shortly after we were told it was for VIP.....We all piped up saying we were VIP and stated that Pauline was the Queen of Denmark.  A few laughs were exchanged and before we knew it we had our own table!

Being the classy people we are we order a couple beer towers while waiting for the buffet to open!

Party on......Krap...krap, krap, krap.....krap!

Random pics...didn't take too many pics this time while in Koh Chang

We drove by a beautiful rice field and kindly asked the workers if we could snap some photos of them.   They smiled and agreed but I'm not sure they knew what they were agreeing to.

Here a Monk, there a Monk, everywhere a Monk Monk!

More than 85% of the Laotian people in Luang Prabang are Buddhists.  Boys, especially those from poor homes will attend monk schools and get their education through the monasteries.  There are temples everywhere in Luang Prabang and when there are temples there are monks!  It is a sea of orange here!
